How has my week gone? (Wananga reflection)

My week has been Alright I guess because I had a pretty good time in Art,Gym and Japanese this week.

In art i finished my painting and blog post so i got to start on the roller painting. The way roller painting work is Firstly you roll out some ink with a roller then you get a thin clear layer of a plastic sheet. Then you roll a thin layer of ink onto the plastic sheet. After that you place a piece of paper onto the plastic sheet and draw whatever you want onto the paper (with a pencil/pen). Then once your done you lift up then paper and whatever you drew on the opposite side made the ink transferred onto the side of the paper side that was faced down.

On Thursday I had Gym, an I really enjoyed it because we played soccer. We got put into four teams and I was put into a team with Keisha, Garick, Jaren and a couple of other people. Our team Won all of the games we played and had one game off. We also had Gym today and we played Multi Sport and I was on a team with Evan, Abby, Hrishal and Emma.

When we had Japanese on Tuesday it was fun because we learned a new row of letters in hirigana. We also got to do a quizlet live.

Interpesonal skills-Drawing in pairs

Inter personal skills-Drawing in pairs.

Me and keisha paired up and we had to explain a picture to each other while the other drew.

What Ip skill did you show/use today? Did you use any warm fuzzies?

The IP skills i used today was when I communicated with keisha and tried my best to tell her the exact details of the picture in front of me. And we used warm fuzzies by encouraging each other.

How did it help with the success/lack of success, of the activity?

Using interpersonal skills it helped me understand keisha and draw more accurately.

Who did you work with that went well today?

I worked with keisha and it went well bc the drawings looked somewhat similar and we had the same idea.

If you were to do it again, how would you do it differently?

I would try and explain the  details a lot more accurately and try and use sizes and shapes of things as an example of how to draw it.

What levels of Helisons behavior model were you working at in this activity and provide examples of this?

Interpersonal skills

I would rate my IP skills on this activity a four because I was listening to keisha carefully and respectfully, I was being sensitive and explaining everything well enough so she could get a fair idea of what to do and I was Not mucking around so we could do more than one each.

Day 2

Aim: The aim is to make the dirty water clean again.

Method

1. Make sure all funnels all lined up

2.Slowly pour dirty water into the first funnel

3.Make sure it is not going to leak before starting your blog

4.A group member needs to check it every 5 minutes

Discussion:

Firstly you mix the solute (dirt) and solvent (water) and mix them together making the solution (dirty water).

After That we added more solvent (oil) that made the water and dirt separate. Now that there is a lot more solvent it dilutes the water and oil.

After that we filtered the water with a cloth and filter paper Three times and it partly worked but the water solvent was still a little bit yellow.

It kind of worked but the water was still yellow and undrinkable. The things I would do differently are adding more filters and so the water comes out more clear.
