English Essay (Animal testing should be illegal)

 

Sadly animal testing is a big issue in our world because it's unnecessary, puts animals in pain, and is sometimes even ineffective.

Animal testing should be illegal because it put animals through unnecessary pain. For example, when researchers are testing sometimes they connect a tube to the animals and pump products into their stomachs until side effect shows. In addition to that some testing animals are forced to inhale toxic fumes, others are immobilized in restraint devices for hours, some have holes drilled into their skulls, and others have their skin burned off or their spinal cords crushed. This proves that animal testing is very painful for animals and can mentally and physically scar them for life.

Animal testing sometimes is ineffective. When researchers test on animals the results can come out different on animals than humans because the animals they are testing on have different skin, eyes, and elements in their bodies. Which it's also proven that 92% of the time testing is not accurate. On another note, if animal testing isn't accurate 92% of the time that means that when we buy products and use them it can give us rashes, allergic reactions, and irritated skin/eyes.

Testing on animals would be more effective if you test the products on things with similar particles as the skin. Determined researchers don't even realize that they could be testing on things that would give them more accurate results on humans. 

To sum up, everything that has been stated animal testing should be illegal because it is so unfair on the animals, inaccurate 92% of the time and there are better ways products can be tested.
