Business and Enterprise

Business and Enterprise Kete was a big project for the year 7-9 to sell and create products of our choice.
Our group name was Glass Designs, and we made glass frames with different paintings on them such a cartoon characters like stitch, Patrick star, bugs bunny, and some others.

Firstly our group planned out where we were going to get our glass from with a budget of 20$. For $20 we got 16 frames and each person in our group got 4 each. I made bus bunny, stitch, Patrick star, and the three bare bears. When we were done we made a poster for our table and then we were done.

Some of the jobs I specifically had was to sort the final decisions, make sure to update Miss Taylor, and make sure everything is going well.

What were you learnings?
Some of my learning was how to paint onto glass, how different pen worked on glass (what worked best), how to partly run a business, how pre order works, and some other things.

How Important were your decisions?
My decisions were pretty important because I was the CEO of our group and I had to make the final decision to tell the teacher what was happening and how we are going to do things.

Do you think you were successful?
I think we were successful because we sold out and everything was gone pretty quick. On top of that we made a profit of at least $40.

Do you believe you upheld the CARR values our our school?
I think I upheld the CARR values because our group rotated who got to stay at the table and who got to look around fairly, and when I was done I helped my friends group sell as well. I also upheld the Carr Values well because I was being sensible and I was usually either looking at the other businesses, helping the group (Christmas in a Candle) or just sitting down with my friends on the artificial grass.
